PART OF A SERIES: Crimson Room Escape Games
Game details

Blue Chamber is another point-and-click escape room game created by Toshimitsu Takagi, following Crimson Room and Viridian Room. Released in 2004, it continues the tradition of mysterious, atmospheric puzzle-solving but introduces a unique communication-based mechanic.

Gameplay & Atmosphere

In Blue Chamber, players find themselves trapped in a small, dimly lit room with a red telephone and various cryptic objects. Unlike previous games, escaping requires sending a message through the phone, adding an intriguing layer to the puzzle-solving experience. Players must find a pen, write a message, and use a capsule system to transmit their note, eventually deciphering a hidden phone number to escape.

Influence & Legacy

While Blue Chamber is less well-known than Crimson Room, it remains a cult favorite among escape room enthusiasts. Its innovative mechanics influenced later escape games, particularly those that incorporate interactive storytelling and communication-based puzzles.
